Welcome to the website of the Ridings of Yorkshire Society. This address will no longer be updated after 05/06/2023 The Ridings of Yorkshire Society website has moved to www.ridingsofyorkshiresociety.co.uk ROYS is a group dedicated to researching celebrating Yorkshire's past, and its researchers, across a variety of disciplines. The group is run by 6 PhD candidates at the University of Hull working on a variety of aspects of Yorkshire's past. However, this isn't a group for Hull students, or even just history students! ROYS is for anyone working on Yorkshire's past, from any dicsipline or subject!
