The podcast is hosted by Jonny Farley and Sam Wright, and sees a variety of researchers and organisations chat about their work. Welcome to the website of the Ridings of Yorkshire Society. This address will no longer be updated after 05/06/2023 The Ridings of Yorkshire Society website has moved to www.ridingsofyorkshiresociety.co.uk ROYS is a group dedicated to researching  celebrating Yorkshire's past, and its researchers, across a variety of disciplines. The group is run by 6 PhD candidates at the University of Hull working on a variety of aspects of Yorkshire's past. However, this isn't a group for Hull students, or even just history students! ROYS is for anyone working on Yorkshire's past, from any dicsipline or subject! Our next activity will be the annual ROYS Conference, taking place at the Leeds City Museum between 16th and 17th June 2023. Find our Call for Papers here.
